This show is dangerous to watch.

Which one? Should I watch it too?   :orly:

Sitting in my truck for the next 4 hours until monkeyboy is done at the farm. But now that it has started to rain, I think it's going to lull me to sleep. Love the sound of rain. Good thing I always keep a pillow and blanket in the backseat for the kids.  :green:

We've had gloomy cold weather here today too...but cozied up under a blanket sounds delicious. Hope you feel nice after your nap.

On reflection, it really shows just how fucked up I used to be, when one considers who I was "friends" with at the time.  I'm glad that is not the case now.

I may not have many IRL friends, but the ones I do have are extremely compatible with me.  My closest (in geography) friend called this afternoon and asked if she could use my washer to rinse a load of laundry that was in the washer when it died.  I said sure.  The compatible thing is that my dryer died about 2 weeks ago.  So she has a dryer and I have a dryer.  An almost perfect match.

Both our daughters have autism (among other handicaps.)  When we visit, the 2 girls who have decided to be best friends and cousins will talk to each other for 30 seconds and then sit down and do their individual things for an hour or two and be perfectly happy friends.

That's a beautiful thing. Being accepted for who you are and where you're at in life with no expectations hanging over your heard. Good for both of you and for the girls as well.
