Thinking that twentysomething is young.

Yes, it really is. Little did I appreciate that when I WAS twentysomething.  :emosad:

Youth really is really wasted on the young.

It's also beginning to occur to me that middle age is wasted on the middle-aged!   :orly:

There are more ways to ignore and they are delicious.

I am thinking that my baby girl puppy dog might just turn out to be overly affectionate, even for a baby girl puppy dog.

Someone asked, sorry - can not remember who -  but I bought a mutt accident from a puppy farm. Most of these dogs are generally euthanised at birth, but something about this litter "spoke to the breeder" and he decided to sell them off for the cost of their shots and treatments.

My new baby is presumed to be a cross between female Australian Healer and a male Golden Labrador.  I found out that the mother has already been put down, unfortunately. Pure bred females can never again breed true after they have have been soiled from outside their breed, so they say.

I got a picture of the presumed rogue father, but the mother was already gone.

Why is this?  It sounds like a barbaric thing to me.  The puppies would have the DNA of the dam and of the sire that she was bred to for that particular litter, wouldn't they?

That sounds like the same crap that White Supremacists try to say about women who have mixed race kids. There isn't the slightest shred of evidence that it's true.

Happy you got that puppy Dawg.

The putting the mother down makes no sense to me at all. Looks more like superstition than logic, the reason to put her down.

I googled Australian Healer, and am curious what your pup looks like.
