At work, my log-in information and passwords were "hacked" somehow. I reported this and discovered that my passwords were changed by "automation" from an outside source. I documented everything as well as I could and told as many people in management as I could and was instructed to create a "Job Number" by notifying the corporate offices of the incident.
Sure enough, we had anomalous things going on with the entire network all day long. Fortunately, I was not the only one. There were two other people, in our store, who had the same thing happen to them (once you over reach your "paygrade" or permission status your access is banned by the software.) and an official company-wide alert came out within about twenty minutes of my report.
The funny thing is that this system-wide invasion from outside was probably Masterminded by a shut-in teen who wants to buy some new-release XBox game for five bucks or something as asinine.
