Actually, it's not a rose and I have not vomited, although it was touch-n-go for a bit.

I made a long-steeped concoction of fresh, crushed "mourning"  (I always prefer the "mourning" spelling) glory seeds with cinnamon, nutmeg, absinthe, mint and sage, then had a cup.

I'm fucking stoned. Better than good pot, to be honest. Can't think of why I went for this, but I have.

I may have enough to get me through the winter, if I harvest the entire fence line for my own mourning.

The urge went away in a matter of an hour or two. Well, enough of it to not brew any more mourning glory seeds for a while.
The let down seems worse than I remember it. I still plan to harvest the seeds, but I will spread them around the parks as I have done for most of my adult life.

No more hallucinogenics for a while.

Good move.

It's been a rough few days for me.

My wife is very sick (a nasty cough that sounds like Precious Pup's laugh), my son has QUIT doing math, my daughter went to a birthday party and now just sits around stimming, won't eat or talk about it, I'm already fighting SAD, I've eaten like two pigs and a hog and put back on some of the weight I struggled to lose, and I whacked my hair off for some reason.

Today seems better, though.
