Welcome to the club of parentage! Check any and all ambitions at the door, subserviate yourself to serving a squalling 6-8 pound mass of flesh, poop and spit up! As well as give up the idea of sleeping soundly for the first six weeks of the cherubs existence outside mommy's uterus. My wife thought I was about to split the scene for at least 3 months after Amber was born. I surprised her by sticking it out. 16 years later I still wonder how I did it!
Doulas, birth plans, birthing centers, episiotomies, epidurals, baby names, cribs, disposable diapers vs. cloth diapers, etc...
