Yeah :(

Do you have enough room in your mouth for them to come in?

I didn't.  My wisdom teeth were as big as horse teeth, so all four of them had to be cut out.

Cut out?

I've had teeth taken out before because I had too many, will it just be like that?

I don't think there is enough room, no :(

They're right at the back, I don't see how they could fit really

They are not wanted, I have enough already

I don't seem to be getting any at the top of my mouth, just two at the bottom, mostly the one on the right

I had teeth taken out, it doesn't hurt :P

Are they coming out in their own space in the gum or beneath another tooth?

Mine came without any problems and I don't really feel a difference :)

They often come in one at a time or two at a time.

They have to be "Cut"  out because there is not enough of the tooth showing above the gumline to extract them normally. Usually the dentist has to surgically remove some of the gums also. Another thing that complicates the removal of wisdom teeth is that the roots are really large.

Funny thing about mine is that they grew back after about ten years and had to be cut out again. They weren't "actual teeth" growing back, but a large rift of bone took shape and grew through my gums, again. It's still happening.

No, not usually, but they often use gas and local anesthetics if they remove them all at once.

Fuck I don't want that happening
Bastards had better come out right
What a pain in the arse
Why does it think I need more teeth when I'm nearly 20 anyway?

It's really not that bad.

I'm fifty two and still growing bones in that area. Dentist said it was a sign of good health.

I'd rather have them cut out than deal with the constant pain of growing teeth cutting the gums from inside.

Is it similar to just getting normal teeth taken out? Or does it hurt a lot?

If you get anesthetics then you shouldn't feel a thing, methinks.

That is if you even NEED to get it done  :zoinks:

After all, your wisdom teeth can come out just fine :P

lol I'm panicking too soon again  8)

They put some weird cream on my teeth when I had some taken out once before. That made them go numb and I didn't feel anything

It depends on the dentist. They have highly effective anesthetics these days. If the dentist is good at hitting the nerve with the injections on the first try, then the worst part is the first shot. Unfortunately the nerve center for the upper teeth is above the palate, so the needle really needs to pierce the palate, towards the rear of your mouth. A good dentist will give you a small skin shot into the gums to slightly deaden that whole area before he attempts to pierce the palate.

It sounds scary
I really hope I don't get that
Do everyone's wisdom teeth hurt when they get them?
Or am I already doomed?
