He's not a hacker.

You could attach some sort of image from your host in a thread he'd reply to, then when he replies look at your logs to see which IP downloaded the image at the right time.

Yeah.  Though if he's banned than that trick won't work.  About the only thing you can do is ask somebody who might know.  But I bet he just changes his static IP by changing his MAC should it ever not work.  And if he has to he uses a CGI proxy.

There are better methods but he's too stupid to use them.
