I wanted to get my bridge pierced at one point...but my body rejected my eyebrow by migrating out of the skin.

The new body piercing fad is here.

That looks really painful.  What happens if something accidentally hits your face?

I think that was your body telling you not to do it again.

That is what I thought, too. Wouldn't want to get into a fight or have someone brush past your face.

Most piercings are a really bad
idea, if you're going to get into
a fight. It's one of the things that
I often assess, when someone
looks as though they're about to
start something, these days.

I have a tattoo though and I want to get more. I'm going to spend money on tattoo's but not get them so soon. I'm only 18 (I got my tat at 17) and I might regret what I get.

Most people who have lots of tattoo's (Kat Von D from L.A. Ink) regrets many of hers because she got them so young.
I have a deep scar on my eyebrow from the piercing but I like scars so I'm not going to complain and it's not that visible my bangs cover it. Thats why I chose my eyebrow because at the time I was looking for employment and some places find that stuff inappropriate for work I had straight across bangs (Beatle- girl style at the time)  because I could remove my bandanna and let my bangs down to completely cover the piercing.

What's so original about piercings now-a-days? Everyone seems to have them (where I live at least) . I don't think they are a unique look as people say they are.
The other reason i took my piercing out besides my body rejecting it was that I had emo kids from my school (I was in grade 11) saying "ooooh! cool Marlys! I have one too! look Marlys has one too! has just like us! cool piercing Marlys!"

Wow.  They've found a way to make me find glasses not only unattractive, but repulsive.  I'm impressed.

And as for piercings in general, yeah, I'd be pretty badly fucked in a fight because of my ears (picture below, though I may have posted it here before on another thread- I have eleven piercings in both ears and quite frankly it makes HAIRCUTS dangerous), but to my understanding

1.  It's pretty easy to rip someone's ears off anyway.
2.  It's also pretty easy to beat the shit out of someone my size if you're bound and determined to.

Yeah. But it looks a lot easier with these HUGE piercings some have.
Yours don't look too dangerous.

True. I usually don't think so hard about people near my own weight
or less. But, I've gotten into some tussles (no fights) with guys who
have a LOT of dangerous looking piercings. Gives more options than just
the knees. Though most don't tend to protect them, anyhow.

Ouch I'd rather get eye surgery without anesthetic than have metal through my nose.  What happens if it gets caught on something?

I used to work for a guy that had part of one of his ears bit and torn off in a fight he also had parts of three fingers taken off by his lawn mower not the brightest guy I ever met :green:

Lesson? DON'T fight the lawn mower.
