I remember that day distinctly well because I moved into my new house and did not know where the booster switch was for my solar hot water.  I had a cold shower and shivered my ass off all night and walked around the house in my Melbourne coat!

Brisbane is a nice city.  It used to be classed as being like a big country town, but it's grown up a lot over the past 10 years.  (And must have become sexy!)

We had Riverfire a few weeks ago, a week long festival that ends with Fireworks on a Saturday night;

The whole show ends with F1-11 fighter planes going into afterburn down the river and over the city...it's awesome.
