That is if you want a nice place. If land is expensive in the same way gas is over there, it'd still be dirt cheap by UK standards.Lands a tricky thing there is so much of it but everybody seems to want it in the same areas driving up the price. Where I live the average for an empty .25 acre lot is around $130,000right on the water in my town they start at over $350,000. Down closer to NYC they pay $750,000 for a house to tare down an build a 2-3 million dollar house. My brother paid cash for his house in a not so popular area so you mileage varies greatly

14:10 - Moarskrillex42: She said something about knowing why I wanted to move to Glasgow when she came in. She plopped down on my bed and told me to go ahead and open it for her.14:11 - Peter5930: So, she thought I was your lover and that I was sending you a box full of sex toys, and that you wanted to move to Glasgow to be with me?
Fairfield County was $520,000 and the median condo price was $292,000.
Greenwich had the most expensive median price for single-family homes at $1.6 million. New Canaan was second at $1.5 million. Darien was third with $1.19 million and Westport was fourth at $1.15 million.
I guess the grass is always greener on the other side.
