Reminds me of a story too good not to share.

Years and years ago when I was still working as a projectionist for an actual regular cinema, I was running a Disney movie. It was during a Christmas holiday so the auditorium was packed - 700+ people.

An old projectionist friend visited me in the booth with his two kids. They'd just watched the previous show and he wanted to see the booth again. We had a great chat, discussing old times and laughing away. At one point, a tech friend also joined, and the three of us exchanged stories while the kids kept themselves busy elsewhere in the booth.

Until one of the ushers showed up, hopping mad, demanding to know what the **** we were doing.

Turned out the kids had kept busy making shadow puppets. :LMAO:
