Pretty much everyone else was tired of your endless polls, but you did not want to stop making them and having them dictate site policy, even if very few people voted in them.
Without the types of defenses that I
was trying to put into place, awful shit
could (and did) happen. Like the WC overturning
elections that the general membership voted
in. Elections which were decided by less than
half the voters, which could be put aside by
those who voted against the people.

The members of the WC had a lot more sense than you were giving them credit for.
You started polls to impeach everyone, but the only person who would have been impeached had he not stepped down was Hadron and he deserved it for adminning Scrapheap to help him cover up the fact that he adminned you when he had already agreed not to ever admin anyone again and also for lying about what he did until it became completely laughable. Now he has made up some ridiculous story that he did not even write the posts where he eventually admitted it.
Hadron also threatened to delete the poll reversing your stupid fiat rule:
No, they aren't. Hadron has been made aware that third parties are not to be given admin access - I view giving Scrapheap or anyone else the ability to delete posts in a similar manner. I trust that this will not happen again. I only give so many chances.

The fiat poll can be deleted though, before the time is up. The wonders of the fiat rule...
WC members did not vote to impeach someone just because they voted against them in the election. All the votes for the other admins were in favor of keeping them.
