Let's hope it's that because the fix is easy.

Are you Pro-Leprechaun or Anti-Midget?

What's the outcome of your 2/5 diet?  (did I get the name right?)

I think they call it 5:2.

The outcome is that I feel a lot healthier and sleep better. I have also lost weight--I am down two sizes and need a new belt.

The fast day is like a cleansing ritual. It actually feels good in itself. Sure, I sometimes do get hungry but it doesn't feel like a problem.

I read some stuff about the Kindle Fire and it says that battery life is around 10 hours. So that isn't too bad. I found that I read faster using the Kindle than I do reading regular books. So far I have read 4 and a half books. I wondered if that phenomenon was true.

I believe I read faster on my Kindle. I focus better.

It's both its great advantage and its great disadvantage: you can only see one page at a time.

I agree. It's also harder to just flip back and read a section that was forgotten. I do that all the time with regular books.

I'm very much relying on a good table of contents and plenty of bookmarks to do that on the Kindle.

Have you taken any time to enjoy the Winter Olympics?

I actually have and even though we (locally) have had the worst winter in over one hundred years, I am finding a fight in me against "SADs,"  the typical winter depression I experience every year.

Call me ghey, but I have really enjoyed the Olympics.

How 'bout you?
Jimi Hendrix: When the power of love overcomes the love of power the world will know peace.

Ghandi: Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.

The end result of life's daily pain and suffering, trials and failures, tears and laughter, readings and listenings is an accumulation of wisdom in its purest form.

I haven't had the time to watch any of it, I'm sorry to say. Ever since before it even began, I've been preparing for (and eventually delivering) a presentation and a demo at a conference, and work has been piling up in the meanwhile. It's been a very busy last few weeks.

What's the first movie you can recall seeing in a theatre?

Why?

Around the same time I also saw "The Aristocats". I think this one was first, though.

I still think the Pippi movies were good children's movies.
