i named my sone after a city.
I kind of prefer old fashioned names. Odder ones, though, like Ursula and Julian. I dont like just putting weird sounds together. It seems like everyone is making up their kids names from scratch these days. I guess it is because I always had trouble with people spelling my name wrong.

I was named after my maternal grandmother, a ladylike Anglo-Irish Catholic!
If I ever have kids, which is highly unlikely, I'd name the girl Jean. I haven't really thought about boys' names.
I was named Lisa because my mother liked that name long before she ever met my dad. I like old-fashioned names, too.Quote from: Binty on November 06, 2011, 02:46:45 PMIf I ever have kids, which is highly unlikely, I'd name the girl Jean.
