no, it isn't. Its a nickname which originated at uni - me and a friend were in the same lectures as a Malaysian lass who had totally quifftastic Elvis hair, which amused us no end and provoked many a homage to the King. So we became Jimvis and Duncvis in tribute.  8)

Have any book recommendations for me? I might take another trip down at the library at some point.

Check out anything from Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion series. Also Robert Rankin is fucking hilarious, and if you haven't read anything by Clive Barker, you should.

Bradford has a high Asian population, as in Indian and Pakistani, don't it?. I remember in the film 'East is East' the sign for Bradford was changed to Brad-istan. Ha. Is that where ADF hail from?

No, ADF aren't from Bradford. Fun-Da-Mental are though.

And yeah, Bradford has West Indians, settled Italian, Polish, Ukrainian and Hungarian communities, fuckloads of Irish descent, Indians, Afghanis, Bangladeshis, and the largest Pakistani community outside Asia, mainly from Mirpur. The food rocks.

Thats cool. Sounds like the food would rock for sure!     This place is turning into a bit of a melting pot. Lots from Eastern Europe and China especially.

Fun-Da-Mental are they simular in style to ADF then?

Kind of, yeah. Fun-Da-Mental have a more overt anarchistic political stance, but its basically hip-hop with an Asian twist. ADF are better though, I particularly like Community Music.  8)

I'm enjoying the new wave of Eastern European migrants cos the shops are full of Polish beer and munchies, and the lasses are much less scary looking than a lot of the locals - no tattooed knuckles lol.

Yeah Community Music is a good album. I liked Rafi as well. Lost track of the band lately though.

Yeah the ACAB tats and sovereigns is not a good look. Hopefully the Sultry Polish ladies will avoid it!
