i would but my buddies last crop molded (sorry).  so i decided to quit.
Tell him to go get books on better controlling the ph of his growing environment. You can't stop the spores, but you can help the plants to defend themselves.

he is a genius.  but he took off for a week at the end, or something, and they well, they molded.

Exactly! A lack of stability, most likely cause when molds attack ... ph too high. An occassional vinegar spritzing will help, too (Dilute it a lot! T/G)

Hey Dunc, good news..... No Jamie Oliver hasnt been glassed in the face or knee capped whilst leaving Sainsburys health food section.

You were indeed right a couple of weeks ago in chat, Combichrist have indeed got a new double album out next month, and so do Wumpsut. If you hadnt mentioned that id have probably missed it! So thanky you old chap. ;D

I know, finding out Jamie Oliver had been badily beaten and left in the middle of a busy road or something, prob would have put a bigger smile on your face, but well, the world isnt always fair, its all about balance, so some other poor sod is currently getting the knee capping instead, maybe next time eh. ;)

Hmmm. for Newky Brown (and most real ales come to that), around 45-50F/7-10C. Too cold and it loses some flavour, warmer than that and its over sweet.
