SECURITY AT CONCERTS.
Nah, I'll pass. Not many big gigs round here anyway, and if its a band I like I'd make a crap steward/bouncer.
what's even more interesting is that "The Wall" came out the following year. coincidence or what, eh?
I don't mind Pink Floyd, but not enough to be considered as a big fan of them because, like the Beatles, they are overrated musicians. Besides, psychedelic & progressive rock music can get old at times.
Anyone who thinks "The Yellow Submarine" by The Beatles is inspirational needs to be shot.
I can't be arsed with the beatles either. fucking boring, and overrated IMO, though I do like The Doors and Hendrix, and a bit of Floyd or Jefferson Airplane in small doses. And to me, the gods of psychedelic rock are Ozric Tentacles, and that NEVER gets old. If it does you need a new head, or to marinate the one you have in a vat of cider and mushrooms for a couple of days to refresh it.
On the electronic side theres shitloads of psychedelic stuff worth a listen, some of it quite heavy - Hallucinogen, Juno Reactor and Infected Mushroom spring to mind. </wibble>
