See something called "karma" below people's avatars, with the Yay and Ghey links? you have those links below your... post count, too, visible for other members, and if someone likes what you said or did, they'll yay you, that is,  :plus: you. And if they really didn't, they might ghey you instead (-1, that is, no cool emoticon for that).

If you decide that the karma system is emo or crappy or not worth your time or patience, you can ask an admin to freeze the number at 0.
