Another day of keeping to my resolutions of spending more time at the house (unfortunately not doing the chores I should be doing) and spending less, nothing was spent 3 days this week.

Shadows are freaky.

I bought some wine earlier today.
I don't have a life so I like to come here and try my best trolling you all. I'm not that clever so I'm now banned. Again. Odeon wrote this after pwning my sorry arse. I'm now back at Spasticity, trying to make it look like my mission here was a success.

I cry a lot.

I went to a Hot Wheels collectors' event at Kmart on Saturday. There, you had to get a ticket and there was a raffle where they randomly draw out your ticket number. Each person got to open a new case of Hot Wheels cars and choose five of them while the rest were going to be put on the pegs. Why do we go to these things? Because of the Treasure Hunts and "Super" cars. Those are extremely difficult to find in the "wild", because employees and vulturous collectors usually get to them before anyone else. But when you go to these events and go through the boxes, chances are, you will find a Treasure Hunt or "Super" car among the other cars. And trust me, these things are valuable.

A Treasure Hunt or a "Super" car may retail for the standard retail price of $1.07-$1.50 when found, but due to their rarity and demand, they will easily sell on eBay for 50+ dollars!

With all of that said, several people got a "Super" '71 Dodge Challenger, a few got a Treasure Hunts Tyrell P34. I got a "Super" '71 Dodge Challenger, along with a regular one. The difference between a regular and "Super" Dodge Challenger is that the regular has plastic tires while the super has redline rubber tires. Also, the super has a stripe on the hood while the regular doesn't. The paint on the super is Spectraflame, while the paint on the regular is just a regular sheer paint.

Here's an example of how valuable these things really are. This isn't mine.

As a Hot Wheels collector, the only cars I keep in the pack are rare, valuable ones. Anything that's common I open and play with.

Had to be in a city nearby, and there was the weekly market.

Got lots of mushrooms, and vegetables I cannot get in this village.

Cooking will be pleasant, the next few days.

Also got me, and the girls, some "stroopwafelkruimels"  :hyke:

I2 today is not i2 of yesteryear. It is a knitting circle. Those that participate be they nice or asshats know their place and the price to be there. Odeon is the overlord

.Benevolent if you toe the line.

Think it is I2 of old? Even Odeon is not so delusional as to think otherwise. He may on occasionally pretend otherwise but his base is that knitting circle.

Censoring/banning/restricting/moderating myself, Calanadale & Scrapheap were all not his finest moments.

I would have bought 2 short boxers and had a good time.

That sounds like fun. Nice finds.

Wish I had the collection I had when I was a kid. :P I always sort through them whenever I spy some at a sale, I've run across an occasional redline every now and then, but they're usually pretty beat up when you do find them.

I packed away an assortment of mostly VW's back in the 80's when I still had time to browse the toy stores and money to burn, sold them unopened about 15 years later when I needed the money, a couple went for around $75 to $50 back then, probably worth more than that now.

An ETA to authorize me to visit Australia. It is good for one year and I can go there for up to 3 months and have multiple entries.
