I bought a truck of my own. But it's a lot smaller. :P

It's a Arrma Fury RTR, an 1/10th scale hobbyist-grade radio-control truck which is powered by a battery, has a waterproof suspension, and can run up to 30 miles per hour for 20 minutes on a full charge (it's NOT a toy, obviously). I was amazed when I took this thing for its first run, it just zoomed around the parking lot (which was on a hill) so fast and smoothly. I've always dreamed of having an RC truck and now that little dream has been realized.

That's actually really cool. I know these things can sometimes need well looked after, so be nice to it, and don't be doing any silly stunts with it.

And don't dare let any mean kids take it from you :viking:

I have a friend who's really into those. He's got some Traxxas something or other, looks a lot like the one you've got. Those things are wicked fast.

RC cars in general are a lot of fun. We used to have one at the cinema and drive it around the lobby during shows. ;D

It's a Silverado 2500 3/4 ton,

The 3/4 ton has 8 lug wheels? I thought they had 6 lug.  :dunno:

The two wheel drive half tons have five lugs, four wheel drive half tons have six lugs, and the three quarter tons have eight lugs. It's the gas engine. The diesel trucks were five to six thousand dollars more.

A floor lamp for the PR's room, another computer chair (executive style), DVD - 2 Weeks Notice, Rodale cookbook, big pillow to sit on the car, stuffed animal for the PR, pair of pants for PA, Daisy Seal A Meal II, a lap tray: for under $50 at the thrift store.

Today's dinner, tomorrows lunches, etc. at the grocery store.

The floor lamp for the PR's room is this style, with shades that are varying colors of pink or white and flexible arms.  I swear it looks like a gay octopus.

A good monarch is a treasure. A good politician is an oxymoron.

My brain is both uninhibited and uninhabited.

I take it that you don't commute very far. I live 25 miles from school/work and that thing would bankrupt me just putting gas in it.

5,000 to 6,000 for a diesel?? FUCK for that money you could buy a diesel engine and put it in there yourself!!!  :o  >:(

New diesels I have heard from a mechanic are a real pain in the ass to work on also and hated them.

BTW One ton vans have 8 lugs and 80psi  tires also
