The toys are worthless crap and the 'chocolate' is repulsively over-sweet, nastyass cocoa-deficient garbage with absolutely zero redeeming feature whatsoever.

One year at Easter I was poor and so I bought all my nieces and nephews a Kinder Surprise each. When the family got together, I handed them out. I don't know if the chocolate got eaten but the toys were pretty decent even though small and they kept the kids amused for ages.

Can't say I've experienced very much US chocolate. Only peanut butter filled M&Ms, which we don't get here. Those I'm jealous of you bastards for

But the 'kinder' products, all of them, here, are disgusting too. Really, really awful stuff. Its sweet, its sickly and nauseating aftertaste to it. And they make these bars of it here, which are actually ADVERTIZED as 'more milk and less cocoa', as if that was a selling point, and not the chocolate equivalent of selling ice that is 90% MSM or glucose etc. Kind of surprised me though that less cocoa was being used to actually promote the things. Tried one once after a shopkeeper gave me one for free. And as soon as I'd gotten out of his shop, I spat out the mouthful I'd taken and tossed the rest in the nearest gutter. Which probably would have improved the flavour.
