After trying at 3 stores in town, 3 stores on-line, I finally just googled Merida Toddler Doll and found it at JCPenney. Ordered it and it will be here by 12/8. That is the last Christmas present. Now I only need to buy a tree and Christmas Eve dinner fixings.
Wish I had it as organised as you do. You're awesome!
I bought ice and bread yesterday. Got to buy cat food today.
Not awesome. Just put aside spare change and "found/extra" money from Nov 1 through Oct 31 each year. We had $126 + for the holidays. Shopping is easy since I'm always at the thrift stores (gorgeous cashmere sweater with $78 price tag for under $4 for PA, Disney VCR tape for a daughter's friend, etc.) I only shop 4 people - 2 friends and 2 family. Buying things on sale/closeout during the year helps too. Have all the eating crackers bought for New Years Eve, the jellies and olives, ham, etc.
We already have a little over $26 towards the 2016 holidays.
It helps that Mom, Grandma Teenie and (Great)Grandma Janins were all Capricorn who lived together. I learned thrift and reuse at an early age, but just followed it wisely recently. During the Depression Grandma Teenie would sneak next door and take the wood discards from the mill to burn in the stove. Uncle Frank would bring the stale bread home and they would burn that occasionally also.
