Books and beer. Not necessarily in that order.

I've started Christmas shopping.  :orly: I usually like to have it done before November, but that didn't happen last year and it probably wont happen again this year either.  I now try to focus more on consumable gifts, so that means shopping a little later when the stores have all the cool holiday themed boozes and yummy goodies. Sugarbutt will do something handmade as usual, so we can still give something thoughtful.  :dunno:

A very cute set of chip clips.  3 foxes and 3 hedgehogs.  Mostly for the foxes.

I bought a little Bluetooth capable, three channel amplifier.
I have built a small "birdhouse" for which to protect it some from weather and installed it under our eves in the back patio area near the firepit.

I had already installed some JBL Industrial rough service full range drivers along the eves. I just needed power to them.

To make all ages happy, the Bluetooth option was necessary.
Only complication I had was that I was hoping to be done when I got the amp up, but that pesky third channel is for a passive subwoofer. SO I built a small flat cabinet for a flat 10" woofer.

Everything sounds amazing out there. Ten times more power than I was looking for and no need for a woofer of any sort.
I generally wanted a whisper system.

FLAT WOOFER:

If you actually want a self contained Bluetooth solution, you have to buy more than what you wanted, it seems.

Finding anything in stock was a challenge!

It was a bit ago when I finally had all the pieces bought and delivered.

But now I have them installed. I had bought some paint that matched all the outside trim when we first moved in, because there were some touch ups to do. The new garage door opener and weatherstripping did not cover the old exactly, so I had to paint those areas and many other things.

But when I got all his new speaker stuff installed I painted everything to match. It all just fades together.
The biggest give away is that the amp has to be plugged in to one of the outlets. Of course I painted all that too. It almost disappears, even in daylight.
