meatloaf fixin's for my mighty MEATY meatloaf!

Please describe this meatloaf in exquisite detail.  :puppy:

2 and a  half pounds lean ground beef, 3/4 cup vegetable juice, 1/3 cup water, 3/4 cup bread crumbs, 2 eggs and a packet of onion mushroom soup mix.   Hand mix...I use nitrile gloves, since I'm allergic to latex.....  Place in large pyrex pan...11X9...after molding into a loaf shape.  Bake at 400 degrees F until interior temp is 170 F degrees.   Now you can add a packet of bacon bits for extra flavor, or use BBQ sauce in place of vegetable juice for another type of flavor.......as one of my friends uses.  You can also add onions or peppers to the mix according to your particular tastes.   It is a flexible recipe as to what your individual tastes are.

Sounds good.  My mother used dry oats instead of bread crumbs, and crumbled a bay leaf into the mix.  :)

I prefer using 90% lean ground beef.

A friend of mine makes a delicious turkey loaf with dried cranberries included.  :2thumbsup:

You can make a meat loaf with ground chicken, turkey, pork.  It's a pretty flexible dish.

I think this might be the year I start to cook at home.  :2thumbsup:

For quicker baking, bake your meatloaf in a muffin tin.  Also makes leftovers easier to package (except for meatloaf sandwiches)

I also use a handful or two of oats in my meatloaf.

Meatloaf is quite a flexible dish. Veggies like finely chopped cabbage (cole slaw mix from the bag), corn, carrots, etc can be snuck in.  And uit can be almost any nationality depending on the seasonings you use.

That's an excellent idea. Prefer meats well done, so the ends are the only appealing bits of a meatloaf.

Omelets are another flexible dish.  Muenster cheese and scallions make them delicious.  Or add a spaghetti sauce topping or velveeta cheese spread for creaminess.  I even experimented with chopped spinach and muenster cheese.  Yum!

I often make omelets at work for the residents, so I already have some technique.  :2thumbsup:

My omelet making is abysmal. I either flip it before it is ready or I burn it.

I bought ice, tea tree oil, ice cream, bread and potatoes.

I was saying to my friend the other day that they should do vapes for binge eaters to help stop them from overeating...just have the flavours in the vape without the nicotine. I think it's a brilliant idea.  :green:

They're high in calories, though.

I mean vape juice, not fruit juice.
