Bought a used AC fan for my car. Turned out it was for a different car model...  >:(

New slippers from L.L. Bean for my cold toesies!  Also a bunch of Bella Sara trading cards for Amber, her latest obsession! :P

Five Happy Hippos, three packets of Worcester Sauce French Fries and a bottle of purple Lucozade.
I think it was buy one get one free on the Lucozade though, but I'm a bit thick like that so I only got one.

a piano and lessons to go with it

No shit?

What kind?

a heintzman 130A in polished ebony. it has a tone similar to the schimmel but it is one third the price (i don't have a 25000$ budget yet for a schimmel), so i consider it a good runner up for a first purchase.

http://www.hzmpiano.com/products.aspx?page=pianos&pl=2 the site has a crappy audio clip with major sound wave loss playing that doesn't do the piano any justice.

if you go to http://rickjonespianos.com/, there are some schimmel samples there you can listen to if you're interested. the recordings are a bit better but still not the best quality.

Still a nice piece of gear!

Congratulations. I hope you can get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

considering that i've wanted a piano since i was 4 (i am now almost 30), and that i literally wore out the key contacts on a yamaha electric keyboard i had for 3.5 years, i would say that this piano will get excellent usage.

it was just delivered this morning and it still hasn't sunk in yet that i actually own a piano. it's so... foreign.

That's an amazing piano.

Mine (my parents' actually) was my great-grandmother's, but I don't have it now.

That's a beauty! I'm a little jealous.
:D

I have always wanted a piano, too. I can't play it, but I know many people who could.
Enjoy!
