two points:

DUH!!!!  That's why I'm willing to give Calandale the benefit of the doubt if he has some other plausible explanation.  I posted this in a public forum for god's sake, so I it's not like I'd have been surprised if it just happenned.  I want Calandale's explanation of why Alex brought up his name, though.

2.  calandale is about as trustworthy as something which isn't trustworthy -  he's got NPD, for fuck's sake.

I know he's narcissistic - I didn't realized he had an actual DX.  But I did take his side against the abuses of power that he was complaining about.  In that regard, it would have been to his benefit to keep me around.
