Concentration camp your life and history?
There is history in my psych book. The origin on of mesmerize I think is drived from the famous quack, Anton Mesmer, who discovered hypnosis. Although it wasn't called hypnosis at first, it was orginally called mesmerism. He had a tub full of electrically magnatized water with a oddly shapped rod in it. He walked around in a purple robe, tapping people with a wand, urging people to yeild to the magnetic fluids around them. Pushing his subjects further psychologically, alot of them went through what he called a grand crisis. He thought he was helping people, but in reality it was grand mal seizure. The french government offered him 20,000 francs for the secret of so called therapy, but he declined. They appointed 2 committees to investigate it, and one of them was the US embassador, Benjamin Franklin. The all agreed it was a hox and it worked by suggestion. A secret message was sent to the king saying they thought mesmerism was probably habit forming and dangerous to one's health. It was banned and also because they though it made woman too easy to seduce. Mesmer left Paris to retire at a town near it, versallies or whatever. How is that for memory? I took high amounts of stimulating herbs, plus maxmium dose of ginko biloba, and on top of that my mind was already sharp. I took the mega memory home study course by Kevin Truedue on top of all that.
Some history I like.
