Glad you feel at least a little better I worry even though I only know you on message boards strange huh but I feel I know people here better than most people in real life.

i am like that too. i feel closer to the people i know online than the "friends" i've had IRL. and i think people know me better online than IRL because i feel more able to be myself on these sites

Is that because in real life your afraid people will see you as a freak if you let you guard down? That's my problem always afraid of rejection and ridicule that haunted my early years,  wow now whose emo

yeah that's part of the reason i find it hard to be myself. people don't usually like me and think i'm weird. so i tend to just stay away. probably because of experiences in high school. i have a pretty bad fear of rejection as well

i dont know what career i want yet :(

ive thought about working in museums or libraries, ideally something that involves history and/or writing/researching
and the less i have to talk to people, the better lol

i'm studying modern history

mainly WWII but also 19th century britain
i cant decide what to continue with into third year - C19th manchester or the holocaust
