What sort of work are you going to apply the knowledge gained from your degree to?

thanks  8)

yeah, you can. i don't think many people who do history end up going into something directly related to history when they graduate. but its a course that can get you into a wide range of things. and its interesting. people who dont like history usually suck.

in my opinion  :P

You can do it if you if you put your mind to it I get the feeling you won't let things get in your way.  I got my degree in biology but never stuck to my guns enough to get a job in the field then I got married and had kids so you do what you must.  History was one of my other choices when I started and I agree people who don't like history do usually suck ;D

i saw bend it like beckham a few years ago, it had keira knightley in it  :eyebrows:

ive liked history as long as i can remember. there's an egyptian section at the museum. and i'm going to london soon to see the egyptian stuff there.
i liked romans when i was younger as well. i used to sit under the kitchen table reading books about them :P
and the plague. and i was obsessed with tudors. my cat was named after henry VIII lol
i do modern history nlow though. 19th century british and 20th century europe, mainly WWII
i like local history a lot, that's why i can't decide which to continue with in third year; the 19th century one is about manchester. i want to do both :(

you should do both. one after the other.

i like romans too. i love Gladiator. the movie Troy is inaccurate. they didn't have any pants on in battles lol. they did in the movie though. bradd pit was talking about it on conan.

Keira is hot. i had a crush on Parminder Nagra though. they are both great.

Bicentennial Man rocks.

learning is fun. passion is a great teacher. you could learn on your own about the other thing. :orly:
