I'd volunteer to be eaten first if there was some way I could be killed humanely (perhaps some nice bloke could snap my neck for me.)  The reasoning behind this is very simple:  I would not do well at all on a desert island.  i'd be useless, panicky, and miserable.  Second and third choices would thus not be left up to me as I would be dead.
