Skittish huh? Well poco or avin would have ran under the bed or something too. Poco was afraid to even go outside. Myla and the stimpson however, would have been doing acrobatic tricks and attacking the houseguests pockets for treats.

yeah Flo is too scared to go outside. In summer she goes in the garden sometimes to chew up grass and throw up furballs, but she mostly just stays in my room these days. She's never wandered much anyway. Her sister Sootica used to go out a lot though. But Flo is kinda agoraphobic. Gets a lot of anxiety as well.

Poco went outside when she was a baby to play in the grass, but when she got older she had some wierd aversion to the "outside" ground. She'd shake her paw after touching it like it was dirty or something. Lol. She was also afraid of rain, snow, geese, butterflies, mice, strong wind, large shadows, birds... Just about anything outside.

I find it funny when you let a cat out in the rain for the first time and they get all confused by it.

'Twas but a pre-screening; I have another interview (a "next stage" interview I guess) with the same agency early next week.  So, I suppose it went well- they want to see me again!

I am interviewing for a new job so I can get out of the hell-hole I am currently in. My only concern is taking a step back on my environmental issues. I want to be up front about my need for darkness and distance from smells.

Government working ESOH! My interview is 5 January 2010. Supposedly I would get my own office, so that would be cool controlling the environment. Drawbacks are an added 40 minutes to my commute and working in MD while living in VA. Plus, I have established quite a bit of liberties for myself here. However, I have to get out of my current situation!

Ah, then reasonable indeed, from the sound.  =)  Is it a job that might be worth relocating for?

I doubt I'll find one I'd move for in my current search (unless I get super-desperate), but with where I am in my career right now/the way I see trends going, I'm unlikely to find a job with enough expectable permanence to relocate for, even with all other issues aside.

I can't relocate. I am staying with my kids no matter what and just refinced the house anyway. I would just have to start getting up in the morning I suppose.
