I was, and I was decidedly disappointed.  House has officially vagged out.  I was hoping it would all turn out to be another hallucination.

So you think House has a vagina now? I figured you wouldn't like the pro-drug slant, especially at the end. I liked the episode except when spazzy Puerto Rican dude went to get his meds. If the drugs help, fine, but I like people to stay true to themselves.

I really liked the chess match between House and the staff. When they called him on the urine test all I could think of was how the hell is hegoing to get out of this one. I really liked that they let the story proceed before revealing they were still one step ahead of House. That was brilliant and funny!

Could've done without the banging the chick though. Seemed unnecessary.

That actually wasn't what bugged me; it was the cheesiness of the episode- though I admit I was hoping it would turn out house was still getting sugar pills.  If you go by the disease model of addiction (which I sorta do, but still view addicts as moral agents), it actually makes sense for House to be on some type of antidepressant- all those years of opiate addiction prolly blew out all his neurochemical pathways and ability to naturally generate "happy chemicals."

He doesn't have to be a fuckin' sap, though.  I mean, come on, House saying "Kisses are.... good things."   That's something you'd have the blonde ditz say in a teen movie.

I agree- it could have been every bit as real as far as I'm concerned if he hadn't actually nailed her, and possibly more powerful.  And it bugged me a wee bit that the issue of her being married with kids wasn't viewed as much of a moral conundrum by anyone.  I'd expect that of House (he's done it before, though with his ex wife, which is arguably a bit different), but why neither she nor his shrink questioned it kinda got to me.  So did the fact that they screwed in the ward's main room and didn't get caught, lol.

You made fun of me, waaaaahhh.    I don't really use that term when I am being serious.   You can be cruel, but at least you are funny.    This was in response to your comment about Soleiyu and me being right for him (something like that).   I wasn't really offended, but I felt like using a childish insult to be an ass.   I do it all the time, call people meanies.

Very good point! After the episode I was trying to think of ways that some of those characters, especially patients, could come up again in the story. Even if House vagged out on us, some of the other characters were quite interesting. Not sure how'd they pan out without House in the mix though.

Not to question the morality of the woman's actions, but I thought she said she was bet friend's with her husband's sister and then married him because he was the only other person like her...or something like that. I got the impression she never really loved him in the first place and once the sister was mute realized she shouldn't have been with him. They did have kids though, so t makes it a very sticky situation.
