I asked him stupid questions, "What are you doing? "Why are you changing it."
I talked to him the whole time right when I first saw it. I asked him why they are in the long plastic tube and he said in case they break and the glass won't go everywhere, it's a safety thing. He also saw the lines running in them too and said it was the gas. When he first put it in I thought I heard a hissing sound and then it stopped after it went out as he was putting it in. Then when it went on again, I didn't hear such sound so I figured it was my imagination. Those things are so old he has to use scotch tape to tape them on so they won't fall out of those things.
I don't know if he put up with me because I'm a girl, it's hard to say. Employees are to treat each other with respect so there is no bullying or threats or put downs so I'm safe.
