All the tubes I have are older American or European ones not all new in the box but tested. I still use them is some radios and equipment when fixing things so it wouldn't be all I have on hand but if you need a couple or any weird ones PM
Has it really been a week since this conversation began?!?
This has been a sort of fucked up week. Thank gawd that it flew by at super-life speed. I wonder - is there a life barrier that must be breached in order to enter super-life speed? If so, does it create a shock wave?
Parts, I am really interested in Mullard, RCA, or Telefunken branded 5Y3s, 5R4W, 6DJ8, 12AX7, or EL84.
I don't know enough about the nuts and bolts of old radios to know if those specific types were used.
These tube types that I have listed are very common in modern tube type equipment, which I own. This, obviously, makes them more desirable than most types and a resulting rarity ensues, along with a higher price often being expected. I would certainly be interested in any "deals, too good to pass up" you might have encountered in your dives, but I would not want to rip you off.
You might scan
this guy's site. He has an excellent reputation for quality service among the tube hi-fi crowd.
Another one,
here, who buys tubes outright and is known for his fairness.
You may have some treasures, if you haven't catalogued them recently.
