People aren't avoiding taking you on because you're scary; they're avoiding it because they just don't know you very well, so they don't have much to say to you, and they know that you don't have the full story on this, and they can't be bothered explaining it all to you.

Robert has a long history of going on crusades against people, and he can be bloody nasty and spiteful when the mood takes him, which seems to be most days.  The result is that people return fire, and then he runs off crying.  We don't randomly attack him for fun and laughs; we just refuse to sit here while he barks at us and pees on the carpet.
