Hi PI - yes, but it is only a voluntary job. I don't get paid. I am proud of what I do though. I work for the Liberal Democrat MP of Cambridge and I help with computer work and looking over letters that members of the public write in!

I was thinking of asking for a paid position, but I have got so much going on in my life at the moment that I think I will just keep the status quo!

Its still experience for when you're ready to look for a paying job. Plus whilst you still have so much going on in your life its probably good that you're not taking on something as big as your first paying job.

Not that much really. Things have been fairly uneventful. However, I am moving into my own place (in a supported living environment) in a weeks time. It will be a bit scary, but I've got my parents and a social worker to help make the transition go OK. I have already learnt a lot more independent living skills in the past few months.

Well, I'm taking public transport a bit more now, so I'm getting there with the "independence" thing myself. :p

Sounds like fun- I'm going away on the 27th, can't wait, although I will miss this place.  Will you still be able to be in contact with Buzzard whilst you're away?

I very much doubt it. International phone lines are an astronomical price (I have a phobia of using the phone anyway) and I doubt the Bajans are up to date as regards internet cafes! However, I will send a postcard if Buzzard is OK with that!
