Helping Emos to Cope Online.

We say that this site toughens us up.  (IIRC).     I think we should have a thread for, general advice to help people who don't find it easy to cope with attacks, people disagreeing with them etc.  I have come a long way since my immature early days on WP, and I would like to share my own coping tactics, and hear others.

One of mine is just to sit back and realize that all the most intelligent, important people get attacked and disagreed with the most.  Al great scientists, world leaders, politicians etc.

Another is just to not post immedialtly, but type it out, then come back to it and think before posting it.

(I don't nessacarily follow these rules )

We have the forum for people with real problems for when we people want advice, but I don't think its a smart idea having a general emo friendly thread elsewhere, it gives people a false sense of security.

Plus it encourages emos to join, which isn't really fair on them considering that we won't enable them in their whiny self-pity.

you cope simply by fighting back.
sometimes you must realize that you are wrong.  that is when double talk comes in handy.

Agreed. So I'm doing ok there.

Another thing is to not answer the insults but the other parts of people's posts (if there are any).
