The problem with WP is that it is a high-profile site claiming to provide a supportive environment for Aspies. I don't exactly care for Flagg but I think that what Graelwyn is doing is just wrong. Just as wrong as Lit's little affair with that 15-yo.

I'm a parent of a preteen son. I know just how vulnerable he would be.

Probably a BIG difference between pre-teen and 15, and certainly 17.
Look, we're talking about an age where sex is desired and likely to happen.
It almost seems as though you're more disturbed by the idea of someone
lovingly introducing a younger person to sex, than you are to two dumb
kids rushing through, and maybe fucking up their lives.

No, I'm not. I'm concerned because a 16-yo should be off limits to a moderator twice the 16-yo's age, especially considering that she knows she's breaking the law in the 16-yo's home state (and I don't give a fuck if you think it's a backwater state or not). There is a difference between a preteen and a 16-yo, yes, but considering they're both Aspies, the difference is not necessarily as big as you might think. I only have to remember how I was at that age to realize that.

But what gets me the most here is that Grael is perfectly willing to ignore applicable laws when it suits her. She's a fucking mod, for chrissakes.

All I'm saying that if you have a support site, you should do what you can to offer a supportive environment. Grael isn't the right type of person to be a mod in a place like that, and so shouldn't be a mod.

i remember as a 35 year old, when i first went to WP (my first board), i used to look up to the moderators.  saw them as an example of what is correct behaviour.  i was 35, did i mention that?

what if some 14 year old girl, read her thread where she was claiming that her relationship with flagg was ok, because it was "love".  now, the 14 year old girl doesn't see much difference between her age and flaggs age, because she has dated a boy that age already.

now, some 32 year old man is sending her PM's.  the girl thinks that this is a fine relationship, because grael, the mod, says it is.  and now we have a 14 year old girl talking dirty, sending pictures, etc, with this 32 year old male.


is graelwyn a good example for these impressionable, and gullible aspies?
should she be in a position of influence at a support site that caters to young people?

Do you ever take anything seriously?  or is life just one big joke to you?  If you can't see why a grown adult having a relationship with a 16 year old member isn't the right kind of person to be a mod then god help Alex if you two are a prime example of the staff he picked.

i think its tasteless on grealwyns part,. apparently she cant find a man relative to her age. in the very least she is extremly immature. she gets away with alot of crap over there that regular people probably woundt be so lucky to get away with. like when she doesnt like how one of her threads are going, (that one in the haven) she moves it. well its like why make it in the first place if you dont want replys?

She also stalked a Aspie man who lives near her IRL.  She acted as if she was justified in doing this too, so if this minor child actually moves near her or she moves near him and then their "love affair" does not work out, he had better watch his back.  She seems to have anger management issues.
