Never built a full sized one, but I did build a couple of small (working) ones.
Yeah, I'm into swords and bows.

Why funny? I have a couple of neat knives, two WWII era military sabers and a few Japanese bayonets, but no bows.

I have never built a big trebuchet, only "model" ones that would hurl baseball sized stones, but they all worked well. I have a few new ideas I want to incorporate into the next one I build, but I have two other projects I need to finish up before I can start anything else.
My brother built one that would throw an eighty pound bag of contractor's sand over one hundred yards. He has lots more space to play in than I do, living in the city.
