My mother thought she might have cancer too but the results were negative so I was happy for her and she kept it all to herself during the suspicion because she didn't want to worry anyone and the only person she told was my Dad.

I haven't told anyone either IRL.  I don't have a partner, so your Mum was lucky she had someone to confide in.

I shouldn't have mentioned it last night, but as I said, I let my guard down.

Congratulations on the new job Eclair, I hope you enjoy it more than the last one (which would be quite a bit because you seemed to like the last one from what I remember).

I hope the cancer thing is benign.   I assume you are waiting on results, that must be stressful.

No, no, I haven't started a new job.  SG just keeps asking me what my job is  :P.  It's the same one I've had for the last few months!
