Do you think that you're musical connection
makes it easier for songs to get stuck in your
head?

Not when you are trying to write documents, no.  Maybe if you are smoking dope and sucking on a coldie!

True. Can't take much but classical, when I'm working.
Rather not even that.

Yes, I'm not much for music when I'm trying to focus on work.  Hence the songs in the head can be annoying.  Fucking annoying.

What are your obsessions Eclair?

Probably my first one was music, where I could recognise songs from a few bars and say what the name of the song was, what year it was and who the artist was.  I have a few interests, but somehow, even before I was diagnosed, I knew I had to keep things under control or else they could easily dominate my life.  I find now, I am able to identify more easily once I am focusing too much on something that it needs to be addressed and kept in line.

Except probably when it comes to work.  I always push myself past the comfort zone and usually pay for it either on a personal level or on a professional level.

So its a bit of a balancing act for you.

What kind of music do you listen to?

Are you a fan of Mark 'Chopper' Reed? lol

Eric Bana is a very good actor.  Very good and able to take on diverse roles.  But a lot of Australian actors are like that.  Not that I'm biased.  Russell Crowe is one, but unfortunatley he has shown himself to be a bit of a tosser with all the fame.  But I liked him so much in "The Sum of Us" one of his first major Australian films where he plays a real Australian bloke, who happens to be gay.  Excellent movie.

I listen to all sorts of music.  I'm a music schizophrenic!

Yeah there is some good talent down under!

What's your 'Desert Island' book, disc and bikini style and colour?

This is funny because it was the topic of a question that I asked all of my friends a few years back.

The book would most likely be some sort of Encyclopedia about France.
The disc would be some corny 80's compilation which included a few obligitory obscure corny 'one hit wonders' - except Katrina and The Waves "Walking On Sunshine" which should be treated as a crime against humanity.
The bikini would just be a bottom, as since I would be on a deserted Island, all I would have to worry about is keeping sand out of my bottom.  Happy to go topless.  Deserted or otherwise.

:eyebrows: Cool.

I like France too especially Paris. Was there about 3 years ago. Love the architecture etc. The south's cool too. Have you been?

Walking on sunshine *shudders* -God awful song.

I've got a really good eighties album. Its got stuff like The Cure 'In Between Days', Echo and the Bunny Men 'The Killing Moon', Tears for Fears 'Mad World' and Kraftwerk 'The Model'  :)etc. I think you'd really like it.

Just one good eighties album?  I suppose since you were born in the 70's, I'll let you off.  90's music was probably your peak years.

Oh how funny, I have had Midnight Oil on this week in my car.  And I was just thinking yesterday how great their music was and how sad it is that they won't perform live again as a band since old Pete is now a politician (the tragedy of it all!).

Wouldn't you be concerned about getting a bad sunburn?
