What day job do you have that occupies your time and reduces your time on here?

Why do you want to know that?
Curiosity, I like to know where older aspies end up.

It's cyclic for me Hadron.

You mean you want to know where I end up, or aspies older than yourself? I suspect you work in something involving national security, given your other posts.

Sorry, I don't understand that first sentence you have written.

I've posted in this thread earlier what I do generally, however not specifically.  I consulted on many different projects in different industries.

But, I've also been a cleaner or not been able to work at all and had to live off what I have managed to save when I have been able to get work.  That's why I said it's cyclic.

I can mop up a mean polished floor :P

Having one area of expertise is sort of not the current career trend like it used to be.  I've known people who've gone from being a doctor to being a computer programmer.  It's the joy of having lived a long time!

Do you like Cate Blanchett? I think she's beautiful and a brilliantly talented actress. She's currently playing Bob Dylan in a bio pic of same.

She gives me the impression that she is a really gracious lady.  I saw an interview with her on The Actors Studio.  She deserves every success she receives, she is lovely.

Yeah she's a special lady.

As you mentioned the Actor's Studio, here goes:

What is your favorite word?
What is your least favorite word?
What turns you on [creatively, spiritually or emotionally]?
What turns you off?
What sound or noise do you love?
What sound or noise do you hate?
What is your favorite curse word?
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
What profession would you not like to do?
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?

OK, long list, but here goes;

What is your favorite word? - Fuck, only because B.Streisand drew my attention to it in her Actor's Studio interview and I thought, yes, she's right, that's my favourite word and a good pre fix to a lot of things.
What is your least favorite word? No
What turns you on [creatively, spiritually or emotionally]? Determined people.
What turns you off? Laziness and apathy.
What sound or noise do you love? The sound of someone having an orgasm - again thanks to BS, I agree, it's the most awesome sound.
What sound or noise do you hate? Loud unexpected noises that I have no control over.
What is your favorite curse word? Fuck, or cunt in the right company.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Architect or Lawyer.
What profession would you not like to do? Clean the sanitary bins in toilets.
If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?  Your wish, is my desire.

You seem like a charming lady. Does that come naturally or do you have to work at it??

I'm sure others would disagree with you on that point.

I'm just me, sometimes OK, sometimes not very nice.  Although I don't deliberately aim to be either, no.

No, I only have them about once every 3 months.  I'm not a hard core sweets person.  Although I do like some lollies.

I'm more a savoury girl.

I like Chocolate chip muffins. But I need to watch what I'm eating. My little niece got me a tin of Chupa Chups lollies from holidays. You have these down under?

Do you like Jeffrey Rush?

Double chocolate chip muffins are good when they are hot and the chunks of chocolate are still warm and soft.  They are yummy.

Yes, we have chupa chups.  I used to go crazy for the cola ones when I was a kid.

Geoffrey Rush the Australian actor?  Yes, he seems like he's worked pretty hard to get where he is.  He comes across as a fairly geniune person.  I think he struggled a lot as a young actor.
