I want to ask in my own thread, when are the guests who read the Ask Eclair Anything thread, going to actually join as members?
I just saw you listed as a guest....?
Also, most of the guests Intensity gets are Google bots.
Me listed where as a guest?
On the Who's Online page.

I'm confused.  How can I be listed as a "Guest" when I am "Eclair".  :-\

You are listed as a guest before you log in or if you are logged out for some reason.

No, no, I was logged in and there was a guest viewing the thread.  That's where my comment came from.

The majority of guests are search engine bots.

If you look at a thread or compose a post for more than fifteen minutes without clicking anything, the forum logs you out, but you are automatically logged back in as soon as you click something.

Is it possible that the guest you saw was a search engine bot, but you stayed on the same page for longer than fifteen minutes without clicking anything?

Oh, I never knew that, so I've learned something.

It wasn't me though, because even after I posted the original question, the guest was still showing as viewing the thread.

Anyway, I just wish the guests would join rather than wussy around. ;)

Why so late to get your license?

I moved out when I was 18, so I saved up and paid for my own car.  It didn't seem to make sense to have a licence and no car.

Drive your parents' car. That's what I did when I was in high school but I only drove to and from school and to my doctor appointments and to work when I was 18. I didn't really go anywhere on my own I wanted to go to till I was 19 but I soemtimes went looking in second hand stores after school and stop at Wal-Mart occasionally when I go to my shrink or after I was done seeing him.

I never asked my parents for anything since the day I left home.  It just wouldn't occur to me to do that.

It was better than them taking me to places I wanted to go.  like to school and picking me up from school after softball practice. I hated to wait for them to come.

Ever been to a Outback Steakhouse?

What's an Outback Steakhouse?  Some sort of Australian franchise, like a McDonalds?

You can get reasonable steaks just about anywhere here.  Or do you mean have I eaten some exotic Australian creatures?  I've eaten kangaroo, crocodile and...I think that's about it.

Outback Steakhouse is an Australian restaurant from your country. That's what I was told over here when one first opened in Missoula Montana when I was about 16. I even asked one of the waitresses there is the restaurant is from Australia and she said yes.
