It's a thick black yeast spread that tastes very salty and is not spread thickly across bread or toast, just scraped on.  Although sometimes I like it thick with lots of butter.  Some Australians hate it, but most love it...get it as babies and kids...it has lots of b vitamins.

I call it vaginamite.
