On my way back home from the store just now a goddamned possum walked right in front of my truck so I had to quickly glance in my rear view mirror and quickly tap the brakes and then swerve. Fortunately the vehicle behind me was a reasonable distance back.  Up yours possum.

I'm really glad that you didn't hit the brakes and swerve at the same time.  I fishtailed my car one time doing that to avoid hitting a cat that walked out in front of my car while I was driving down a highway.  I've pretty much made up my mind to only do one or the other the next time if that happens.
