The computer I’m using  at home has Windows 7, and Optus broadband  that slows to dial-up speed after 2GB of usage. 5 people use it.

My own computer, which has a damaged hard drive that I’m saving up to replace, runs windows Vista, and Virgin mobile broadband with 5GB of data.

I miss my computer.

I bought my first one long before there was an Internet. I remember writing a review of a lightning-fast 1200-baud modem for a magazine where I pointed out that its usefulness was limited since there weren't that many BBS's to connect to and the normal user did not have access to the networks the universities had.

Throwing up my heart/blood pressure meds, lately



... probably need to be re-assessed, yet again. try something else. Obviously, my body demands much higher blood pressure than is normal and this is the second time my BP correction pills have begun to fight me.
WTF!!
 



All I can find to study, reflects that my normal blood pressure is likely to be deadly.   And yet, my first several tries to keep my BP in the normal range have not worked for more than a few months, long enough for my metabolism to adjust, etc.
