Can someone tell her that WP shows you as being online sometimes when you aren't? I've been logged on there for days...not sure if it times out like here.

Stress? Soph, I don't recall you saying what happened to Flo...was it just old age and she went to sleep?

She wasn't well and seemed really different for the last few weeks so we took her to the vets. They did blood tests and stuff and then said it was her kidneys but it was too bad to be fixed and the best thing would be to put her to sleep. I stayed with her and stroked her till the doctor said she's gone. My mum couldn't stay so she waited outside. It all happened really quick. she just went to sleep but with her eyes open. Then I kissed her head and left. Cried a lot thouhggh, but i've been expecting this for years as she got older

OK, thanks for sharing. It's just been on my mind that it was as OK as it could have been for you and her. I know it's not nice to say goodbye, but at least I hoped it was a nice and peaceful goodbye for her after a sweet time with you and your family x

You probably spared her a lot of suffering by being brave enough to let her go when you did.

I can get boxes of spaghetti at the store very cheaply. The boxes in my cabinet now were  $1.59 for a pound,
but I think I've gotten them for $.99 per box when on sale. Watch for the sales! Some boxes of pasta,
a couple of jars of sauce, a little butter and grated cheese...great eating! Even I can boil pasta!
