Didn't manage to fix my car phone. The bloody phone module is not broken but it is missing an optical cable that is supposed to connect it to the rest of the optical ring. The bloody mechanic forgot to add it when he installed the CD changer.

Do you have any suppressant/expectorant cough syrup, like Robitussin DM? It quiets the cough somewhat,
while loosening the phlegm so that when you do cough, you actually clear your lungs out a bit. I love it!

I often give Prince Albert piping hot lemonade since the heat breaks up the congestion and soothes the chest and the synepherine in the lemon decongests.  It does take some adjusting to hot lemonade, but it's useful when you need to avoid side effects with other medicines.  You can also take a pain pill to calm the coughing, which I did once for PA.  I mentioned it later on to the Doc and he said that sometimes they do prescribe pain pills for extreme coughing.
