I am on Herbie Hancock's newest release.

I really like it.

I checked it out....who'd have thought!

This is a little gem. This girl is 17....she might be 18 now....but she's from Melbourne and is living in Paris and sings over there. If you load her website, her song 'Smoke in the City' starts to play and it's one of my favourites at the moment.

I tried that line in a couple of weekly Monday meetings where I work. Shows my age, they told me.

Yeah, at least they knew what you were talking about! I don't mind showing my age as long as the reference is understood and appreciated.
I mentioned Jerry Falwell at work recently and my 19-year-old coworkers gave me blank looks!

Some of the programmers had these blank looks on their faces, though.  :zoinks:

Jean Michel Jarre - Equinoxe

I know that one. The library has it (i ripped it) and it is very interesting. My "headbanger"  daughter likes it too.

Maybe this is a musical selection that we can use to begin to expand her musical tastes a bit.  While I am delighted to have a young daughter who loves hard rock, I HAVE to find a way to help her to find enjoyment from all types of music.

Thanks for the post.

Equinoxe is fab. Maybe your daughter should also consider its follow-up, Magnetic Fields.

Thanks, again. I am not familiar, but I will find that one as well.
