One of my "friends" at work gave me about five hundred LPs, today, that had belonged to his parents. I have only scratched the surface, but most of it is R&B, classic rock, top forty, etc. It is mostly common shit, but really, I am amazed at the condition of the ten or so albums I looked at, so far. It seems that these people bought a bunch of albums and probably only played one or two to death at a time.
I am most pleased to get my hands on this enormous Motown selection. My Motown collection, except for digi DLs, is a sad thing to behold, even on good days.
I am playing some Marvin Gaye straight off the vinyl.
